Mount Pleasant opens its doors for a free afternoon of food, clothing, resources, and connection

The biggest change this month is on the health side. The University of Maryland School of Medicine will be on hand for blood pressure checks and fall prevention. Care Access is bringing liver screenings, with a one-time $45 gift card for participants.

The rest of the day is what these Saturdays are known for: free food and clothing giveaways, children’s activities, free prayer, and behavioral health support from the MPCM team. You can also meet your local police department, talk with the Department of Public Works, and connect with veteran resources, Regional Management Inc., and other neighborhood partners.
